Consider it Joy

Consider it joy-Dear brothers and sisters. When troubles of any kind come your way consider it an opportunity for great joy.For you know when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it gro, for when your endurance is fully developed , you will be perfect , needing nothing.

The last couple of days have been really challenging, bringing up feelings that make me want to escape, building hundreds of walls around myself saying,”Leave me alone” that is the polite way of expressing my thoughts.

Escape …No one gives a …. so why even bother, would be a closer version of how I was feeling. Si I started rejecting everyone around me, went to my room and started rejecting myselfwith negative thoughts. I am my own worst enemy” Lord deliver me from myself” . Have you ever felt like this ?

Proverbs 18.1 He who separates himself seeks his own desire. He quarrels against all sound wisdom.

So I turned to God and said a prayer to see if he could help me with my day. I woke up and asked if he would speak to me. I was lead to read my daily devotional called streams in the desert. This is what the first part said

MEN OUGHT ALWAYS TO PRAY AND NOT TO FAINT( Luke 18:1)

“Go to the ant ” Tammer lane used to relate to his friendsan anectode of his early life” I once ” he said ” was forcedto take shelter from my enemiesin a ruined building , where iI sat many hours. Desiring to divert my heartrfrom my hopeless condition. I fixed my eyes on an ant that was carrying a grain of sand larger than iotself up a high wall. I numbered the effort it made to accomplish this objective. The greain fell 69 times to the ground: But the insect perseveredand on the seventieth time it reached the top. This sight gave me courageat the moment , and I never forget the lesson.

FROM THE KINGS BUSINESS

This to me is more proof that God is real with a massive confirmation. I was cooking  sausage casserle yesterday. You know the pepper grinders witht he large grains of Pepper inside

Well…. I was grinding pepper over the pot and the top came off. I spent 2 hours picking corns out of the casserole. This deisaster nearly ruined the food. thinking back it must have been roughly 70 corns of pepper. So like it said before in the daily devotional …Consider the ant…..Perseverance my friend……………Amen

P.S The sausage casserole was great .God certainly has a sense of humour as I look back and laugh
